See their world - built upon our backs
Daylight filtered - falling through the cracks
Beneath this weight - lumbering down their path
It is they who hold the reins - but we who control our fate
Control is in our hands
It is our hands upon the levers
We direct the world
Exquisite Machines that turn the Earth
Straining - holding their weight
While they sleep - we return the sun
Fueled by obscurity - propelled by division
With hidden eyes - they surveil every move
To ensure we never stray - but lumber down the path they choose
Resist the pull - that holds us captive
We are their strength - shrug off this weight
We are their strength - We turn the gears
We are the hands - that built their world
All those years of work of instrumentalist and producer Robert Slump and singer Trevor Marks may not have spawned a long or revolutionary record but an album full of cautiously written and executed hymnic songs somewhere between the grand synthetic gestures of Sybreed and layered Industrial rawness of SYL.
Highly recommended, GeN2Mo
Great vocals and instrumentation. If I had a complaint, it's that there's often so much going on that it's hard to focus on anything. Look forward to more. James Wild

Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024
OK, let me see. A few months later and listening to the album numerous times, it's time to edit my comment. I'm free to write that Kryn is something best I've heard in recent years. This is a band I would definitely recommend to all fans of the genre and beyond. It's hard to choose the song I like the most.
Can't wait for new album. angelus_bellum
